Here’s Where You Come In

Want to save a lot of expense and time during the move?  The best way is to pack your own items, mark them carefully and plan exactly where each box or piece of furniture will go in the new location. 

If you need packing materials, we have the following items ready for quick purchase:

1. Boxes of all kinds: art, small, large, wardrobe, etc.
2. Mattress bags
3. Shrink wrap
4. Packing paper
5. Packing tape
6. Padlocks
7. Expert Packers (Oops, OK you can’t actually buy
   these, but you can hire our services.  We have a great deal of experience in packing household goods.)

Please use small boxes for the heaviest things such as books,
CDs and that gold bullion collection you have.  Then use medium sized boxes for un-hung clothes, toys, linens, etc. In general, try not to overstuff the boxes; the box can burst or break if the contents are too heavy.

It is very important to close the box so no items protrude.  Also, be sure to tape both the lid and the bottom of the box.  Label every box according to room destination; that way you won't have to relocate the box once it's delivered.  If the box contains anything fragile, please mark it as such. We ask you to empty any dresser drawer contents into plastic bags or boxes.

Pack mirrors, paintings and large framed pictures if you like, or you can leave them as is-we'll take good care of them.

With clothing on hangers you have two options: you can use wardrobe boxes (which are ideal, even though they are expensive and take more truck space), or you can tie together 5-6 hangers with clothes on them and cover them in a plastic bag. Either method will do.
